For whatever reason, despite the fact I assigned war thunder Aces.exe Win64 to the Quadro m6000(tesla m40), War thunder just seems to want to run on the m2000 instead, which delivers horrible performance. For context, im using a quadro m2000 as the display adapter, and I installed Quadro m6000 drivers on the tesla m40, so it shows as quadro m6000, and is able to do graphics processing. But, and there is a big But, despite it running fine on most games, and even enlisted which has the same general layout in terms of files as War thunder, I cant get it to work. Only other change I noticed was my friends list zeroed out after it started running in 64bit. No idea what the correlation is.if any at all, but hey. Now, from the launcher, runs in 64bit mode and haven't had any memory crashes lately.
(not sure when that happened) Edited the file referenced and changed to auto. Being the curious type I checked and mine too was running in 32bit mode. I ran across this thread last week as I was searching the forums for out of memory errors that I seemed to be having every other day or so.
